how to claim your petLast updated: 7/13/10Animals that are sheltered by Monroe Police Department will be held for 72 hours at Myownly Kennel, located at 11517 227th Ave SE, Monroe, WA. 360-794-5388. Myownly website is: www.myownly.com
Animals are available for viewing during the following hours:
9 to 11 am and 3-5 pm Monday through Friday
10:00 am to Noon on Saturdays
and Sundays by appointment only.
Process for claiming your pet:
- Go to Myownly and verify it is in fact your pet
- Next, go to the Police Department,
- bring money to cover impound fees and boarding costs for pet
- bring proof of ownership of the pet. This could be: a license, vet records, photos, etc
- bring proof of rabies vaccine and proof of spay/neuter
- if unable to bring proof or rabies or spay/neuter, you will be required to sign an agreement to license pet within 30 days.
- Return to Myownly with receipt of paid fees
- Take your pet home.
